Passionate Experts In Window Tinting
We Use Industry-Leading, Eco-Friendly Window Tinting Films For The Best Results & Ensure Every Detail Is Perfected.
If you’ve ever got into a car that’s been sitting in the Canberra sun for a few hours, you know how unbearable it gets inside. Window tinting makes a genuine difference — to the heat, to the glare, to your privacy, and to how your car looks from the outside. At M&N Detailing, we only fit film we actually stand behind, installed by people who take the time to do it properly. No bubbles, no lifting edges, no purple tint a year later.
Top-Quality Tinting Films
We use professional-grade films from brands we trust. They block heat and UV properly, they look good, and they hold up — which is more than you can say for the cheap stuff installed with a heat gun and a prayer.
Expert Installers
Window tinting sounds simple. It's not. Getting it to sit perfectly on every window — no bubbles, no gaps, no lifting corners — takes skill and patience. Our team has both, and we won't hand your car back until every window looks exactly right.

We handle every step ourselves, from cutting the template to the final inspection.
- Precision cut and fitted film on every window
- Every install is ACT regulation compliant — no guesswork, no defect risk

Knowladge FAQs
Everything You Need To Know About Window Tinting.
Front side windows need to let at least 35% of light through. Rear side windows and the rear windscreen can go darker — down to 20% VLT. We know the rules and every install we do is compliant, so you don't have to worry about getting pulled up at a roadside check.
A full car tint usually takes between 2 and 4 hours. We'll give you a proper time estimate when you book based on your car and the film you go with.
We ask that you leave your windows up for at least 3 to 5 days after we fit the tint. The film needs that time to cure and bond properly. Wind them down too soon and you risk lifting the edges before the adhesive has fully set.
Yes — as long as the tint is installed at a legal shade using quality film, your night visibility won't be significantly affected. Cheaper films can cause a haze that makes night driving uncomfortable. Ours don't, which is part of why we don't use them.
It really does. Good window film blocks up to 99% of UV rays, which protects your skin on long drives and stops your dashboard, seats, and door trims from fading and cracking over time. It's one of those benefits people don't fully appreciate until they've lived without it for years and then finally get it done.
Yes. The films and adhesives we use are professional-grade and environmentally responsible. We care about the result and how we get there.
A Good Tint Makes Every Drive More Comfortable. A Bad One Makes Every Drive More Annoying.
We've seen what a cheap tint job looks like after 12 months in the Canberra heat. Bubbling, fading, peeling at the edges. It's genuinely not worth saving a few dollars on. Get it done right once and you won't think about it again for years.
